Christmas Day lunch from £75 at the Greyhound to £195 at Bingham Riverhouse: ten Richmond, Kew and Barnes menus with prices, children's rates and hours.

For Christmas dinner in Richmond, the cheapest Christmas Day lunch on a published menu is the Greyhound on Kew Green at £75. The riverside White Cross is £95 and the Marlborough on Richmond Hill £110. For a hotel lunch, Bingham Riverhouse charges £195 with Champagne. Every entry checked against the venue’s own site on 29 October 2026.

We have not eaten at any of these places for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry gives what the venue publishes for Christmas 2026: the price, what is included, children’s prices, the hours it opens on the day and its booking rules. We have added the Food Standards Agency hygiene rating. All ten are rated 5. Prices are per person.

Five of the pubs here belong to Young’s, and they serve the same Christmas Day menu at different prices: £90 at the Old Ship, £95 at the White Cross, £98 at the Orange Tree, £100 at the Bull’s Head and £110 at the Marlborough. It is four courses. To start, there is a choice such as venison carpaccio or baked scallops. The mains are a turkey, gammon and duck plate, sirloin of beef, duck breast, a beetroot and mushroom Wellington or halibut. Pudding comes next, then a mince pie. Young’s Christmas booking terms say Christmas Day is paid in full in advance, choices are due by 1 December and a 12.5% discretionary service charge is added to every Christmas Day table.

How we chose

We picked places with a published Christmas 2026 price and a food hygiene rating of 3 or better. Every one here is rated 5. We read each venue’s own Christmas page and menu on 29 October 2026; hygiene ratings come from the Food Standards Agency. The Prince’s Head on Richmond Green has a Christmas Day menu and a children’s menu, but publishes no price; call 020 8940 1572. The White Swan on Old Palace Lane runs a December set menu for groups of eight or more, and puts turkey on its à la carte menu through the month. No trains run on Christmas Day, so check our Christmas and New Year travel guide before you plan the journey home.
