We checked 8 places selling real Christmas trees near Richmond, from the Athletic Ground pitch to Squire's, for 2026 prices and dates. Updated November 2026.
There are eight places selling real Christmas trees to Richmond borough homes in 2026, and this guide puts them in one place with prices, opening dates and delivery areas. Most people will land on the Pines and Needles pitch at the Richmond Athletic Ground, open from 20 November; its Barnes pitch on Rocks Lane, the first to open on 17 November; and Squire’s Garden Centre in Twickenham.
Four entries are Pines and Needles pitches, two of them just over the borough boundary in Kingston and Chiswick, chosen because they deliver into Richmond borough postcodes. Three more are delivery firms that cover the whole borough.

Delivery and rental firms
6. Christmas on the Hill (delivery across London)
Christmas on the Hill describes itself as a family-run north London firm and sells cut trees or rents living ones. It asks renters to keep the tree indoors no more than 25 days, or the deposit is not refunded. It says it delivers to all London postcodes, which includes all of Richmond borough, and aims to deliver every tree by electric vehicle this year.

You can pay extra to have the tree carried in, set up, or set up with lights fitted, and it offers a January collection.

How we chose
We looked for sellers with a pitch or shop in the borough, or close enough to deliver into Richmond borough postcodes, plus firms that deliver across London, and kept only those whose own websites we could read on 5 November 2026. The Pines and Needles pitch in Bushy Park, listed in older roundups, is not on its 2026 list of stores. We left out Twickenham Christmas Trees on Chertsey Road, which local news reported trading in 2024 and 2025, because we could not find a website or a 2026 date from the seller itself, and school sales such as the Collis School Association’s at its Christmas fair in Teddington, which have not published 2026 details yet. We will add them when they do.
